The Los Olivos School District Board of Trustees has five members. The Board meets the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in room 602 on the Los Olivos Elementary School campus.

Mark Herthel is the CEO and co-founder of Platinum Performance Inc., a human and animal health company in the Santa Ynez Valley that is focused on improving lives through advanced nutrition and next-level technology. Platinum was founded in 1996 by Mark and his father, renowned equine surgeon, Dr. Doug Herthel, while Mark was studying Agriculture Business and Food Science at Cal Poly. Platinum has grown to become an aspirational global brand and is currently the number one recommended brand of therapeutic nutritional products by equine veterinarians in the US, serving those veterinarians, their clients and patients of every discipline and level of performance.
Mark is an alumni of Los Olivos School, member and past President of the Santa Barbara Chapter of Young President’s Organization, a member of the Cal Poly Animal Science Advisory Board, and a past President of several local non-profits. He and his wife, Erika, live in Los Olivos, California with their two children, Kendall and Ryder.
Leanna Riccitelli Drammer is a Santa Ynez Valley native. Although her notoriety as a successful event producer has taken her career to the likes of Los Angeles, New York and abroad; Santa Ynez and her upbringing here has always served as an anchor and well of inspiration. Leanna has over twenty-two years of experience within the fashion industry in regard to curating and overseeing the creation of events. Leanna’s ventures and achievements have been steeped in the pursuit of beauty. From high fashion runways shows and Academy Awards parties to events for Fortune 500 companies; Leanna has built her brand upon flawless execution demonstrating a breadth of specialized knowledge. Regardless of the impressive range of her achievements, Leanna’s greatest production thus far has been that of balancing a fulfilling career while raising her two sons Lex and Luc.
