Where did you attend college and what was your major?
I attended Cal State University at Long Beach where I majored in Liberal Studies/History. I earned my teaching credential from there as well after completing a semester abroad in England. I went on to earn a MA in Early Childhood Education from Pepperdine University.
What is your current profession?/ What grades have you taught?
I have taught 1st grade for the past 14 years. I have also taught 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 8th grade History as well as combinations of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.
What are some of your personal hobbies?
I love to travel with my family and to spend time at the beach. I enjoy cooking and baking. I am an avid reader and enjoy doing puzzles. A day is not complete without taking my dogs for a walk around town.
What do you love about Los Olivos School District?
I love our small campus and knowing all of the kids and their families. I appreciate working with my colleagues as part of an educational team. I enjoy the support of my students’ parents. We have a beautiful campus with many great resources. I consider myself fortunate to work here.

Our school community does a fabulous job of raising and educating kids! Let’s continue to work together to promote individual strengths and success for all.
